Why does muscle cramp occurs? So what is the answer for muscle cramp ?

There is a chronic insult over years, of decreased blood circulation to the muscles.

This results in nutritional crunch and it produces cramp/ acute contraction which causes pain as a signal from body to the brain to take care before it’s too late.

Whenever there is contraction, the blood supply of arterial side is diminished and venous supply is obstructed.Hence metabolic waste including substance P which is produced by dying muscle fibres is static which causes pain.

It is clear that when we do Gym for biceps,we at point stop exercise as there is cramp and leave the dumbles in contracted position of biceps i.e. flexion.
Here people say it’s pyruvic acid accumulation that causes pain, but it’s the double whammy where in arterial blood doesn’t supply nutrition (ATP- energy, which requires glucose and oxygen which is supplied by arterial blood) and venous supply is obstructed and substance P and metabolic waste products are stagnant, producing pain (cramp).

Due to this the irritability of muscles increases and on slightest/ overexertion muscles get contracted(cramp).

Just waiting for the tide to go is much needed.

If loss of electrolytes through sweating, then should be corrected aptly.

Further evaluation is needed in form of blood tests

  1. Serum Calcium
  2. Serum Magnesium
  3. Vitamin D3 level
  4. Vitamin B12 level
  5. Serum Electrolytes-Sodium , Potassium

Calcium is required for muscle contraction,so should be evaluated.
Magnesium is required for ATP production.
Vitamin D3 for overall health of musculoskeletal system.
Vitamin B12 for nervous system. Myelination when lost shows >2000 value of Vitamin B12, while decrease in Vitamin B12 < 200 is deficiency where nerves become irritable, causing contraction of muscles/ neuropathy like symptoms.
Serum electrolytes when decreased can also cause similar presentation.

So correcting these all is necessary.

Further these if not repaired, degeneration (Wallerian) sets in and vicious cycle continues.

To break this cycle, NEEDLE INDUCED YOGA relaxes the muscles and STIMPOD NMS treatment calms down the irritable nerve, which when followed by Yoga and stress management is helpful in long run.
